I just got my replacement phone from Asurion and I'm trying to set everything up, but I can't get on the internet. I have the LG Rumor. Everytime I try to go on the internet it says that "The network is preparing your services. Please wait..." But then after a little while it says Error 7 Network timeout. Please, try again. For the life of me I can't figure out what is going on and it just keeps on showing the same message and it's really ticking me off. I'm not sure if it's a problem with Sprint or a problem with the phone that Asurion sent me.
Take a look at all of the other messages posted in the various Network/Coverage threads during the last several weeks concerning people with various connection problems -- they are coming from all over the U.S. and from people with all kinds of handsets. Conclusion = it probably isn't your phone -- it is Sprint's network.

Holy smokes has service been aweful all week with almost non-existant this weekend!! Sprint Business Premier customer service told me just 1/2 hour ago that several cell tower issues in my area that will be resolved by morning. Funny how so many similar issues from all over country. We shall see....All i know is it had better be resolved by morning or Sprint will owe me a little change off next bill since I haven't been able to use service most of week....almost 2 weeks come to think about it.
I don't need anymore help with this problem. I went to a sprint retailer and the guy spent probably 10 to 15 minutes on the phone with a "specialist" figuring out what was wrong. He didn't actually say what it was, but he fixed it. It wasn't a problem that I would've been able to fix on my own and I'm pretty sure it had nothing to do with the cell towers or anything like that.
