Nice reply but it won't be 1xRTT it'll be 1xA (1xAdvanced) which offers more capacity per 1xA Carrier and with it being on 1900Mhz PCS and 850Mhz SMR capacity will be improved as will in building, rural, and urban propagation.

You may not like the fact that it will take time to fix Sprint's issues but you, me and everyone else have to either deal with it or move on. I mean you said you have had no service for 5 months? What kind of idiot would go that long without switching to another carrier. No wonder your mad and rambling on about everything. That's why there are other options out there, go spend more money and get Verizon or AT&T or go cheaper and get crickett or some other cheap carrier where the service is worse. And you think I work for Sprint? You think I would tell you to take your crybaby self to a different carrier if I did? Also I do own a Evo3D..have I had service issues, of course but unlike you I actually check around and see if I can find out what's going on or I call Sprint just the same as you. However, unlike you, if I had as bad of an experience as you are claiming then I would go and find another service that could offer me better. You come out comapring your situation to getting half eaten hamburgers at McDonald's? Your a joke, and you will continue to be seen that way by people who can have reasonable and intelligent conversation.
In response to the original post there are clear problems in Chicago that Sprint wants to just sweep under the rug.
If you are unhappy, I would do one or two things.
First, contact the Better Business Bureau: http://chicago.bbb.org/
Second, contact the Illinois Attorney General and file a consumer complaint. This can be done here: http://illinoisattorneygeneral.gov/consumers/filecomplaint.html
After filing my BBB complaint I contacted by Joanna Ciampa (whose apparent title is Executive and Regulatory Specialist, Legal and Office of Privacy Support - Sprint Nextel Corporation) and was informed that the tower completion in Chicagoland had an estimated completion date of November! I would not really trust any of the messages coming from Sprint seeing that everyone is being told something different.
Both of these can be done quickly, but then you will have to wait up to a month to get a resolution. Dealing with Sprint directly is useless. If this continues for you, I would fill them out soon! Good luck and I hope it works out for all of you!
An upgrade means improving existing service not rendering the existing service unusable. When you cannot conduct business and are being charged for data access fees and cannot access it, you have the right to complain. Persoanlly, I have gotten lies, and brush off from Sprint on multiple occasions. If people have a genuinue propblem with a product or service they are paying for and cannot get out of the contract without paying even more then you attacking them is utter ignorance. Its logic. Stop grandstanding on what you thnk you know and what others should or shouldnt do in response to how poor service effects them and/or their businesses.
I've been having an increase of dropped calls since April. I keep calling and getting the same response about upgrading the towers. Today, I had 6 dropped calls. I called Sprint and while on the phone with them, my call was dropped 8 times! Only 2 representatives called me back. One other rep said they would call back to see what progress was made, but never received that call. The problem here is, this is getting to be a safety issue. I'm sure many people are like me to where our phone is our lifeline to our kids. If we cannot get in touch with them because dropped calls, this is a serious problem and they should let us out of our contract without paying ETF.
They have been upgrading in my area 60140 since March. The service has been just horrible. I am ready to cancel all five lines. I called customer service and they told me they were done with the upgrades. My calls still drop all the time and I get my text messages hours later. I have to go outside to make calls when I am at my sisters house and cannot make calls from my office at work or get any kind of internet connection. When I call customer service they only want to give me a $25.00 credit. I have only been able to use my phone half of the time yet expected to pay my full bill. That is unacceptable. I pay 250.00 a month for service I cant use and am told I can only receive a 25.00 credit? Time to start looking at a new phone provider. I am willing to pay the 600 in early termination fees to have a service that works. Sorry I ever left US Cellular I never had dropped calls. Looks like I am going back to them.
So report them to the BBB for what? What's the BBB going to tell Sprint, to stop spending billions on Network Vision upgrades, fiber and microwave backhaul, and put the legacy equipment back in so you can continue to enjoy their slow, garbage network for eternity? The problem will sort itself out as more towers are upgraded. While you're at it, why don't you report Samsung, since they're partly responsible for the engineering nightmare that's causing your problems.
