Yes. Updated both PRL and profile and restarted several times... nothing.

Mstknid have you completed the following?

 

Go to Settings > General > Software Update.

 

I know you said you've completed an update, but I just want to make sure that this section was updated as well. 

 

The second option is: 

- Turn the option off

- Restart phone

- Turn back on

- Restart phone again

 

If these steps don't resolve the issue, I'll create a ticket, and bring in a specialist.

After spending an hour with a Sprint tech on the phone, we had to disconnect because I was calling from the phone and he wanted to do some debugging.  I tried calling back from another line but have been waiting in the queue for over 20 minutes.

 

So on a hunch I called my local Sprint store.  They have done some repair work for me in the past and I trust their knowledge.  I asked if they also were experiencing VoLTE issues and the tech told me that the latest Samsung update to certain models of Galaxy S8 phones breaks VoLTE even thought it shows it's enabled.  They have had several customers complaining about this issue, and according to the store, it will take another firmware update to fix.

 

So in the mean time it's back to 2018 where the only way to have data and voice is to use Wifi.  Ugh.

 

Cat_Sprint, could your confirm this with your sources?

What do you mean? This is a known issue and you'll be pushing an update to our phones, or that there is something you need to do on the network that makes our phones VoLTE compatible again?

It's a fix on the network end that's actively being corrected.
