I am ONCE AGAIN surprised at the misinformation I can get from contacting customer service.
last friday I got my shipment (NDA) of my new phones accessories, but not my phone. it apparently is backordered.
wish I couldve know that from the start, I might have changed my mind on the phone I chose.
but I called and cs told me, no problem it was now in the warehouse and would be shipped asap... ("in 2-5 days")
so the following work day (MON) I checked and was told, yes. it was in the warehosue and would be shipped "in the next 5-7 days".
I got online in a chat, and there, about 4 hours later, I was told that the phones were on backorder ... not sure when they would be in but they should arrive later this week and they would ship as soon as they arrived.
THIS really pissed me off. Problem is if I changed my order for another phone, I now have all the accessories for the one, AND I would probably
get the same runaround and / or misinformation about the next phone too, so I cannot trust what I am told. This is SORRY customer service.
How on earth can I get correct availability information so I can make an informed decision about the phone I need? Being without a working phone is hard enough! And why cant they let me know when I place the order that the phone is not yet available right then? Do they not know how important to our lives these phones are?
