Since Oreo, why do I have this notification showing me what apps (Sprint Hub) are using my battery? How do I make it go away?
When Google dropped Oreo (Android 8.0), they thought it would be hilarious beneficial to show a persistent notification of apps "running in the background". With the release of 8.1, "running in the background" has been changed to "using battery". Along with the name change, 8.1 has included a feature to turn off this notification.
Settings > Apps > 3 Dots upper right > Show system apps > Android System > Notifications > Tap the words "Apps Consuming Battery" (or you can toggle the switch off) > Importance > Low
