Can I add an existing line to a brand new Family plan?

My family is switching over to Sprint in a few weeks, and we'll all be getting smartphones (probably the Optimus, if it happens to be released in the store near us by then).  We'll have 4 lines total on an Everything Data plan.  My boyfriend has an Evo on his own individual Everything Data plan.  Is there any way to add his phone line to our plan without him paying an ETF?

No, he should not have to pay the ETF if he is moving from an individual to a family plan.  Sprint applies an Early Termination Fee when customers cancel service before completing their service agreement term.  The max number on a consumer family plan is 5 subscribers, but please be aware that the ability to have that many lines on a shared plan depends on the credit decision for the person who will be the account owner.  A credit check is part of the process when a new account is created.  At that time they will tell you how many lines you can have on the account based on the account owners SSN.
