Does replacing your phone mean being locked into a new contract?
I have the HTC EVO Shift 4G. It recently stopped working and I don't have insurance on it. I went to the Sprint store and I was told that I would have to pay $37.50 to order a new phone. I have 5 months left in my 2 year contract. If I do get a replacement phone now, will I be involuntarily locked into a new 2 year contract? I do not want to go through with this if I'm going to be put into a new contract against my will. I just need another phone until I decide what to do when my contract is up.
