On the 6th of August I contacted Sprint customer service to request an unlock code for my wifes HTC10 and my Galaxy S7 (both paid off and in good standing). They said it would take 24-48 hours.
I got on the phone yesterday (the 10th) and apparently the unlock hasn't happened. Sprint's reason is that they haven't started it because of the weekend.
I find this absoluately unacceptable. These phones are MY phones, not Sprints - it is incumbent on Sprint to facilitate my ability to sell my phones in whatever means I feel are appropriate without attempting to shoehorn me into any specific network.
