Payment arrangement gone bad

Went to make a arrangement today as i have for 3 years and it wont let me. I get paid in the middle of the month. I called customer service an they told me i now have to pay 99 upfront then the rest in 7 day. Wth sprint i have a 2k spending limit and i always pay never been shut off this is nutz.
