How long has this been happening? Do you have phone service with us? Are you experiencing the same speeds with the phone? is this happening at home, or all over?
It's probably been about a week or so of the slow / half speed. But I've had various connection issues due to low signal strength and supposed network congestion (in a rural area) over the time I've had the device.
We got a Magic Box to help with the signal and it helps usually, but lately it seems to not be doing much for speeds aside from making the signal on the hotspot display say full strength.
We have Sprint phones in the household, but they are not here at the moment. I have a phone from another provider.
Can you tell me where you have the Magic Box set up? Do you know if the Sprint phones are experiencing the same issues when they're in that location?
I don't know for sure if the sprint phones are having the same issue at this time.
The magic box is in the upper story of the house, sitting in a window sill. This was the best location I could find when using the battery pack per the instructions.
Running a speed test with the magic box on, I get 10-15 Mbps down and 500 kbps up. With the magic box off, I'm seeing around 7 Mbps down and 2250-4500 kbps up.
Somehow the upload speeds are much faster without the magic box turned on
As a follow up posting, it seems that the work between us in the private messages has helped the signal quality, but not sure to what level.
