Hi I'm trying to switch this phone to another carrier, but their SIMs do not work. I confirmed with Sprint that the phone was unlocked both international and domestic. System Updates --> UICC Unlock shows 'Your device is locked to Sprint SIMs only'.
I have reset phone to factory settings; downloaded and installed latest System Updates; clicked on System Updates --> Update PRL and Update Profile, but clicking UICC Unlock displays 'SIM unlocking could not be completed. Error (407)'
Also dialed ##72786#, but the above error persists and tried ##BRAND#
What needs to be done to unlock this phone from Sprint SIMs only?

Ahh okay but you didn't get the email saying it was complete. Let's take a look. Please send me a PM with the IMEI of your phone.
After leaving the phone on WiFi with the Sprint sim in for another 48 hours the UICC unlock still fails with the same error as before.
Please advise on the next steps we can take to fix this issue. I've tried a PRL update which completes successfully. "Update Profile" gives an error saying I need to contact customer service.

Howdy kwiksilver. I looked up this device and it's showing as unlocked on our end. Just to double check,
* Was the phone turned on the whole time?
* Was the phone plugged in the whole time (to prevent the phone from dying)
* Was the device attached to WiFi the whole time: YES
* Did the device have the sprint sim car in the whole time: YES
Yes the phone was turned on the whole time. On the charger the whole time. On wifi the whole time, and never had the sprint sim card out. It still get error 407 every time I try to UICC unlock though.
I had to do ##72786# instead.
The command you listed didn't do anything.
Once I dialed the command I listed above and it asked me if I wanted to reboot and reset some carrier and NAI settings I said yes.
The device has rebooted now. Should I try another carrier SIM now?
