The SIM card has locked. Please power cycle the device and if the problem persists

I have an iPhone 6S, I've had the phone since 2015 and never had this problem before. When I checked my phone this morning when I woke up this message about the SIM being locked was already on the screen. It now shows invalid SIM in the top left of the screen. I have never changed the SIM card before, it's the same one that's been in there for 5 years. I've had Sprint the entire time. If I could get any help with this, I'd be very grateful.

Can you provide me with the IMEI number for that specific device so I'll be able to take a look?
