Let Samsung know how you feel

We customers that have the Neo seem to be getting now where fast so it's time to share the love. All the Samsung Windows Phones on AT&T, Verizon and of course Sprint, have NOT gotten the update. I have already fired off a highly charged email to them and I encourage all others to do the same. Maybe just maybe we can get some results.

"Thank you for contacting Samsung Telecommunications America.

After reviewing your e-mail, we understand that you would like to know when Windows 8.1 update will be available for your phone.

We understand your requirement. We would like to inform you that Microsoft should be working on the update on your device. We are sorry to inform you that, we do not have information on the future update releases. We are unable to speculate when/if a software revision might be available due to the fact that this might lead to inaccurate information and confusion. However, once any update available for your phone, it should be notified on our official web site. We will provide you with a link through which you will find more information regarding your device. We would have surely helped you, if there was any information available at our end.

Well at least they answered.

What is the best way to send a message that gets delivered to Sprint and Samsung....and Microsoft, which must be really pissed that these providers are not permitting it to compete properly?

Let's look at the facts... We know none of these three are going to give us the info we want even though it's in they're best interest to do so. So what we have to do is look a little deeper, Microsoft was done with the update long ago. From here it gets confusing, some say MS sends the update to the manufacturer and then they send it to the carrier. Others say MS sends the update to the carrier and then they send it to the manufacturer. I don't know which is right but consider the following, AT&T and Verizon have both Samsung & Microsoft lumia phones. The lumia's on AT&T have been updated, the Neo has not. On Verizon the update is under testing and neither the lumia's or the ATIV SE have been updated. So that's 3 different networks that have Samsung Windows Phones that are not updated Now if Verizon finishes there testing and updates the lumia's and not the ATIV SE, we know who is to blame.

This may or may not mean anything for us, but there's evidence that Samsung hasn't completely abandoned the ATIV S Neo:

On the Samsung website, they recently (9/9/14) added a revised owner's manual for the A.T.&T. version of the ATIV S Neo, which specifically indicates that it comes with 8.1 (and includes a section on Cortana).

If they're no longer manufacturing the phone, I'm not sure why they'd need a new owner's manual-- maybe they're going to sell some refurbs with 8.1?

And, of course, it is the A.T.&T. version, not ours.

But it does at least indicate that Samsung is doing something with 8.1.

What's the best way to send Sprint the message?  Is there an e-mail for a high corporate official to pester?  Sprint is laying off employees and does not answer its customer service phone number.

What's the point?? Sprint seems to be saying the update will come to them from Samsung so other than pressuring Sprint to pressure Samsung I don't see a point to bothering Sprint. People have already been doing that for months and they're answer hasn't changed.
