My Instinct thinks the headset is plugged in.

A couple of days ago, I was using my Instinct to listen to music in my car. I had one of those iPod adapters in my cassette player which then plugs into the headphone jack. The next day, I noticed that when I try to place or receive a call, the phone acts as though the adapter is still plugged in even though it isn't. I've tried just about everything to make it work properly, but I haven't had any luck. Has anyone else had a problem with this? If so, is there a way to fix it? Thanks!

Re: My Instinct thinks the headset is plugged in.

I reposted my question on another thread and received the following solution:

Plug in the headset, power down the phone, re-power the phone and unplug the headset.

It worked!!!! I'm so happy! Thanks to goygacon for this solution.
