Samsung Galaxy S8 Note not powering on

My wife's Samsung Galaxy S8 Note is not charging. It all started last night after she came back home and it would not charge. The phone would not take a charge on any cable or charger, even the provided Samsung charger and cable. This morning when we woke up, then phone will not take a charge and had completely lost power.

 

I have heard people say to take off the back of the phone and dry it out manually. I am having terrible taking the back of the phone off. Does anyone have advice for this?

Kevin, it sounds like it may be the charging port on the phone that is causing the issue. I don't recommend you to remove the back of the phone to manually make changes to the battery. Instead, please try taking the Note 8 to one of our Repair Stores so one of our tech agents can check it. Please click here to locate the closest one.
