The camera on my samsung rant use to work, but stopped about a month ago. Whenever I try to use the camera or camcorder, a message pops up that says "No Access." Also, I noticed that when I turn on my phone it says, "error code: 5, session id: 27" I think they're probably related. My rant usually freezes up when I go to the "photo" menu, too. How can I fix this?
WIthout being able to Troubleshoot, I can't say for sure what is wrong with your phone. A repair center at a Sprint Store would definitely be able to take care fo this issue, or, you can call Customer Care and they'll troubleshoot it. If they determine it cannot be fixed, we'll send you a new, re-manufactured phone to fix the issue.
But, like I said, first thing I would do is go to the Store.

I have a Samsung rant that all of the sudden has this error and the phone will freeze. I called about this issue and they could not fix it over the phone, and since I do not have insurance they tell me there is nothing then can do to help me. They will not replace my phone even with a refurbished phone. I actually have 2 of these pos phones and have both of them replaced for numerous reasons. I have had sprint for about a year but prior to that I had nextel for almost 8 year. I have never missed a payment and never had to replace a phone till the Samsung Rant. They of course are pushing the insurance. If I had the insurance for the past 8-9 years it would of been a waste of money. I just think it is extremely horrible customer service to treat such a good customer this way. I am not even sure if i am going to stick with sprint or go somewhere else when my plan is up the beginning of next year.
