Wi-Fi is 'disabled'? Won't connect

Suddenly, my Wi-Fi won't connect to my home network--my husband's phone won't either.  We have tried to connect, re-entered password, etc.  After it scans for a minute, it says "obtaining IP address", then says 'disabled'.  It has worked for 2 years, our computers on the same network work just fine, I just can't get our phones to connect to Wi-Fi.  Any help out there?  thanks
