Know what Super AMOLED is on your Samsung Epic 4G

how do i get this or is already on my phone. if it is already on , how to activate

AMOLED is the technology Samsung used to make the screen on your Epic phone.  It makes the display brighter and colors more vibrant on your phone display.  Also, it uses less power than the usual TFT displays on the phone.

I had an epic and the screen used an enormous amount of power compared to my EVO and after reading some of the posts here other people feel this way too.  When you say "TFT" screens which ones are you referring to?  Just curious.  Thanks, Rick

TFT is another technolgoy used to make flat screens.

And by the battery meter, yes, the display should take the most power - up to 70%.  It is a big, bright display.
