I started the froyo upgrade. After 4 minutes it came up with the following
Android system recover <2e>
Samsung Recovery Utils
- for BML -
reboot system now
wipe date/factory reset
wipe cache partition
I choose all 4 options and get back to the same screen.
Remove the battery for about 30 seconds and try again. Let us know how it went.
I have both removed and changed the battery without success. Sprint has put me in touch with a local repair station.
If you have insurance on it, that's a better way because they might swap your phone for a new one. Good luck, let us know how it went.
