email issues

Unable to forward or create and send email from a pop3 account.  Going to outbox as opposed to sent mail box.

Re-check your Outgoing Server Settings.  I had the same issue with my Verizon POP email and had an incorrect Port number.  From the Outgoing server settings page on the phone, I'd hit the Next button at the bottom of the screen, and would get an error message - "Setup could not finish - unable to open connection to server."  Once I used the correct port number and hit Next, the following screen would display "Checking outgoing server settings..." for about 1-2 seconds, then disappear.  If you get to this point, all your queued emails will get sent.  Just copy the settings from your desktop email application for the correct Outgoing server settings.
