Sprint Product Ambassadors: Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Daydream

I’m sure you have caught yourself daydreaming during an important meeting or while staring at your computer during a long workday. I find myself drifting off into “la la land” all too often, only to come back to reality right after the moment someone asks me an important question. Usually, it takes me a second to realize where I am, process what they said, and give a intelligent coherent response.

Thanks to the Jelly Bean OS, the Galaxy Note 3 has a similar feature included in its expansive list of impressive abilities. “Daydream” is like a screen saver for your phone that gives you the ability to view a pretty color display or photo collage style slideshow while your phone is charging but not in use. There are actually 6 different options to choose from under the feature’s settings including clocks and flipboard!

Of course, as is android’s style, the ability to customize and integrate third party apps into this feature gives it unlimited capabilities. On the Google Play Store, there are many apps that are able to enhance the daydream feature. Some of these include inspiring quotes or viewing snapshots of different websites or weather updates! Pocket Now has a great video demoing sine of the different apps available for “Daydream” here: http://pocketnow.com/2013/08/26/daydream-mode-android

Do you use the Daydream mode on your phone? To enable: Settings>Display>Daydream
