Did  anyone in Colorado get the upgrade to JB? I got a notice that one is coming

and then nothing but silence.....If you're going to tease your customers like this

at least let us know that we'll be waiting a few more months instead of building

a wall around JB and hope that we'll forget about the upgrade.

I'm in Atlanta and don't have it yet, either. 😞

I haven't received the update yet. I have been checking for software update on the phone regularly. No success yet. I am in Denver/Parker. I even called the sprint store #1607 and spoke to technical specialist (Robert) to see if I can do the update at the store.

What he told me was stupid and useless. He tells that sprint didn't release any software update and he didn't heard about the jelly bean update till now. Very frustated.

I havent gotten it yet either...Its now the 17th...Totally ridiculous. I talked to sprint and to samsung and neither seem to know a thing about when it will be availble even though its past the timeframe they have for it to be pushed to us.

Russell-

Check through the posts here- if you clear the cache on "Google Services Framework" from the Applications menu and check for the update again, that often helps.  Also a bit of searching will provide a manual update procedure where you download the file directly from Google's servers and manually flash it (this is the exact same one you'd get over the air).  While I agree the tiered downloading system should have a way to bump early adopters manually to the head of the queue, these provide functional workarounds...

I used the instructions at: http://www.techethon.com/how-to-update-official-android-4-1-1-jelly-bean-on-sprint-galaxy-s3/ to do a manual update, without any isses.

Clearing the cache for Google Services Framework did the trick for me. Thanks! (I'm in DFW area, btw.)

Short version is:

  1. Settings -> Application Manager -> ALL
  2. Scroll down and select Google Services Framework
  3. Click "Clear Cache"
  4. (optional?) Restart the phone. (Might not need to do this but I did anyway just to be sure.)
  5. Settings -> About Phone -> Samsung Software Update -> Check Now

Doesn't work for me. There is no cache to clear yet still won't provide the update.

You will select clear data for Google services framework.

FL and NH for me and no update either (11/26).  Maybe they've forgotten the East Coast or maybe they are upgrading those who purchased first?!  My purchase date was early September.
