my samsung galaxy s 3 won't charge right

My phone won't charge right like I have to lay it on the screen so it can charge this started happen two weeks ago I try different chargers and it still does the samething idk what else to do

I had a similar problem with mine.  The plastic surrounding the charging port had a fine crack in it. I learned that is a common problem with that model phone.  I had to send my phone in for repair.
