Same issues.
Not only did this not correct the WIFI connection bug, it also managed to uninstall just about half (I'm not exaggerating) of my apps, as well as my wife's when it installed on hers about a week earlier. Many of these were the stock Samsung/Sprint bloatware apps. Wish I had just ignored this update.
I'm also experiencing many of the same issues as pafriedm -- significant battery drain now, and loss of contact data.
If you haven't installed this update yet, you may want to research the side effects of doing so.
I am also experiencing a massive drain on my battery. I kill just about every app I can but I still don't have enough power to function through the whole day. I'm a bit miffed about this latest update. I also noticed that I can't use my PC texting app any more without actually having my phone in hand and keeping the screen unlocked. Kinda defeats the purpose of being able to send and receive texts from your PC.

I'll try to set to the 3G/CDMA. As I understand, it may be a continued issue with some of the legacy towers in LA that haven't been replaced yet. It does typically drop after charging quite quickly but I will try to isolate.
I am also having huge problems. Black screen where I cant login. Huge lag time on doing almost anything. It can take me 5 minutes or more to text, make a phone call, or get logged into the phone. I have already had my Galaxy s4 replaced. The new phone worked ok for about 3 days and then the symptoms came back. I have reset several times to factory default, cleared cache, and stood on my head -- no real help. I am basically paying for a brick. This is ridiculous. Class Action Lawsuit needs to be launched...
