One things smartphones have done in our lives is that they have become the swiss army knife or stuff for daily use. Back in a day, carrying a camera was a chore and had to be planned. Calculators were huge, and watching videos was only reserved for the living room or the den. However smartphones today can do all of that and so much more. One thing they also gave us is an instant flashlight:
So the Galaxy S6 is not providing anything new or exiting here. The camera flash dubs as a flashlight when needed. In the previous models, this was accessible via a home screen widget but suddenly its there no more! One thing Samsung is NOT good at is consistency. But at least they did not remove that functionality. They just made it easier. Lo and Behold!
The flashlight icon is now in the Android notification section where other quick access buttons are also there such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Powersaving mode and such. Just scroll to the right and its hiding there. You can also reconfigure the whole top menu by hitting tapping edit and moving things around as you please.
