One of the best features on the Galaxy phones has always been the burst photo mode. I've been using it for years from the original S3 to the latest S6. On the S6, you don't have to specifically enable the burst photo mode - just press and hold the shutter button and the camera will take a long series of rapid fire shots. On older phones, there was a noticeable lag before the burst started; on the S6, it's nearly instant. The shots per second have improved too, capturing every detail in a fast motion sporting event.
Focus and stopping action are extremely strong on the S6 - under overcast skies I was able to stop this fastpitch softball shot - at 4x digital zoom too!
Sports photography is easy and successful with the Galaxy S6 - fast focus, amazing burst mode, long reach clear digital zoom - all make it a winner. This is going to be a great summer of softball and photos with the Galaxy S6!
