I recently left Sprint for another carrier and I took my phone to a new carrier and was given a new sim card. I have spoken with Sprint on numerous occasions to get my phone unlocked. I'm told the phone is unlocked but I'm still getting an invalid sim message. It has been a tiring process. I have paid off my phone and account is zero balance and I was told that my phone should be unlocked.

Keep in mind that an unlocked device does not necessarily work or is interoperable with another carrier's network, so that could be the reason why it is not working.
