Sprint Product Ambassadors: It Can See Everything

Sprint Product Ambassador

Well maybe not everything, and certainly not around corners but it can see all around itself, thus it's clever name.

The Gear 360 is a space age little creature that is smarter and slicker than your average camera, and a perfect compliment to your Samsung Galaxy S7 or S7 edge.  Built for high resolution VR capture, the Gear 360 is dust and splash proof, designed to capture "life as it happens".  It has an IP53 rating normally but with an optional housing, can be fully IP67 rated.

Gear 360 is compatible with Galaxy S7 edge, Galaxy S7, Galaxy Note5, Galaxy S6 edge+, Galaxy S6 edge, and Galaxy S6 and works with the Samsung Gear 360 Manager app on Google Play.  It can also work with Google Street View so you can add your own content to one of Google's most popular services.  Who knew that a 360 view of a walk through Mom's garden would be so popular?

It even has a cool little tripod to just be a tabletop camera but there's more accessories that Samsung is bringing out every day.  Seeing as how VR is the "next big thing", the 360 is your companion to help developers grab great content for their VR apps.

Here's how to get started:

Can't wait to get our hands on one of these to thoroughly test it out and report back.

Right now we're not seeing that it has been released in the US though you can get the international version on, albeit at a hefty price!

If any of you have managed to get one, have tried it out and have some great stories, please leave a comment!

Until next time,

The Product Ambassador Team
