Email Virus

How does this phone keep itself from becoming infected with an email virus should someone send you an email that contains a virus?

Re: Email Virus

You are safe until someone writes a virus specifically for the phone.  There is no Outlook or MS Word or Microsoft-anything to enable infections.  The OS is fairly tightly written and the executable applications all run as Java - known for it's resistance to viruses (virii?).

Virus attacks have only been found on Windows Mobile and Symbian OS smart phones - you can see a complete list of possibly vulnerable phones here:

Re: Email Virus

Don't open it? Besides, I don't think you can run .exe's through the instinct.
