Is there a way to make Opera the default browser?

Let say you get sent a link and select it, instead of opening current browser it would open up Opera

Re: Is there a way to make Opera the default browser?

99% no. since opera isnt an actual phone browser, rather just an application on a phone, there isnt gonna be a way to do that

Re: Is there a way to make Opera the default browser?

If Sprint is wondering why customers ask this question....

Speed: Our native browser on its best day averages 890kbps

While Opera Mini averages 4mbps....webpages render in 1-3 seconds

while our native browser renders in 15 sec. up to a minute.

Word wrap: Opera Mini does this very well

Tap to Zoom: Not the 2x button, the screen..

Landscape or Portrait view: While Landscape view is choppy and slow on Opera Mini,

Our Native browser has perfected the landscape view...Just not the wordwrap...

Developers of the Native Browser need to make it where we have a portrait view choice

maybe by hitting the voice command button...This would be the icing on the cake...

Crashes: while our browser crashes the phone (so to speak)

Opera only crashes the app...

Something to think about...
