Picture mail?? Has anyone else had or is having this problem???

Everytime I send....well try to send pictures via picture mail, my recipient never receives it. It says that the picture was sent but when I contact the person they say they never got anything. I've tried to send one pic to multiple people and 2 out of the 10 people I've sent it to said they got it. Is anyone else having this problem??

if some of those people are using verizon,it's verizon's fault.they limit their picture size somewhere around 350k.The instinct takes pics on avarage of about 500-600k.

Not true about verizon. I have successfully sent picture messages to verizon customers who were using the razor and the new dare. The dare actually has a 3mp camera and I have also recieved picture text from a verizon customer with a dare. The file size was 402K. I will agree that there are definitely times when I've sent pictures to verizon customers that didn't go through. Other times they went through immediatly. Who knows...maybe it's sprint...or maybe it's verizon...or a combination of both.

it'a hit or miss.We where trying to figure out here a few months ago if they limit is changed by phone on verizon.Because the dare can recieve them, but others cant.I tried testing this theory out,and from what i experienced the dare will mstly get all files you send it,but the flip up qwert phone they offer wont.So it's mostly on verizon.Sprint/Samsung can only be blamed for lack of pic resizing on the phone.

Re: Picture mail?? Has anyone else had or is having this problem???

I own an instinct. I am having this problem with my wives phone. She has the Samsung QWERTY flip phone. I took a picture of a black screen some where around 100K and it went through, I then took a picture outside and it did not go through. I hope in the next update I will have the ability to change the picture size. It is kinda stupid for verizon to limit the size of pictures sent to certain phones and not others.

I have a friend that has a mogul on verizon and does not have this problem so his size limit must be higher.

No I live in Tennessee. Why?

I resized the picture. Went to Sprint picture mail site downloaded it and then sent it back to the phone using the picture mail site. And she got it.

Re: Picture mail?? Has anyone else had or is having this problem???

I completly discredit sprint's explanation behind the issue. I call it bogus and here is the reasoning behind the disposition I take:

1) My in law had her instinct flashed/unlocked and is now using it on metro pcs. For those who dont know what that is, its an unlimited pre paid company in the u.s. that is growing. They have their own towers too. Well all of her pic msg, using instinct, go through fast to all att,vz, and tmobile users. i tested this!

2) Ive done further testing with my instinct on sprint. Ive tried sending photos to email addresses and often take over an hour to deliver, or never arrive. once again sprint wont take any responsibility at all.

3) vz completly disvalidates this limit. multimedia msg can be sent and received on any vz phone at a 2mb limit.

SPRINT STOP MAKING BOGUS CLAIMS.FACT IS COMPANY FINANCES ARE IMPACTING NETWORK MAINTENANCE. THE SYSTEMS ARE JUST NOT WORKING AS EFFICIENT WITH MORE USERS THAT YOU ENROLLED THAN YOU ARE ABLE TO SUPPORT. THE OVERALL USER EXPERIENCE HAS DEGRADED OVER THE YEARS. YOU SEE THE PROBLEM YET ARE UNWILLING TO ADMIT GUILT AND LACK THE INTEGRITY TO BILL YOUR CUSTOMERS IN FULL EVERY MONTH??

Re: Picture mail?? Has anyone else had or is having this problem???

That is not true I had two separate tere 2 VZW employee's tell me that the limit was 350K for all flip phones. One on the phone directly and one that called and left a voice mail.

So I have no idea were you got that dis-validates this because they (VZW) told me that this is the case.

So you tested it to all phones that is very hard to believe, you sent a picture to ALL their phones on each carrier???

So if it is Sprint's fault, I have also tested this, then why do pictures that I send over 350K don't get delivered and ones that I send below 350K go through straight away.
