Okay, what Smiley faces are you all refering too?

They're refering to Emoticons. Things like appearing as a yellowing smiling face, or appearing as a smiling face that is winking.

and the ability to have Preset messages. Those came in really handy!!!

The users guide says that there is the ability to create preset messages. However, it does not give specific instructions on how. I believe it can be done under settings> messaging settings. At least that is what the guide says. Try it out. I don't have mine yet, waiting for shipping. Let me know if it works.
