Have been told by store associates that android 2.2 will be available in November for the new samsung phones, I wonder if it will be made available for the moment and others
The Moment will not get the 2.2 update. I would expect someone like sdx developers to homebrew one if they haven't yet. But I'm still under warranty and have total protection so I'm not rooting my phone.
Well, Sprint will tell you that the hardware is incapable of upgrading to Froyo but that is just an excuse to fuck us over some more. The transform is the nearly the same exact phone and it's getting it.
It has already been stated officially shortly after the Intercept was released that the Moment will not be getting an update to Android 2.2. The HTC Hero also will not be getting Android 2.2.
