Everyone has been there. You get messages or need to look up something and you only have one hand free. While those with bigger hands have no issue texting or navigating one handed operations can be a pain in the you know what for others. Samsung knows this trouble and therefore has created the option of enabling the one handed operation mode.

One Handed operations can be enabled by access the settings menu and the advanced features section and clicking on the one-handed operation option. Here you can enable the functionality of the reduced screen size operation. This feature is not automatically on by default and is only enabled when the user clicks the home button 3 times in quick succession. Once enable the screen is then reduced and can be utilized both right handed or left handed. Once the user is complete using the small screen option simply click the "return to full screen" option or triple click the home button again.

Users do have the additional option to enable one-handed input on all main device features (dialing keypad, texting, calculator, etc.) By enabling this feature one-handed operation is on by default and cannot be turned off unless you come back to settings section and disable the one-handed input feature. For me I typically do not use this feature as one-handed operation is only need at time both hands are tied up. For those moments when you need to have the ability to use your phone but typing is difficult it is nice to know Samsung has provided users an option like this.

Enjoy and remember never use your phone or tablet while driving, be safe and healthy.
