Invalid Sim

I bought a phone off of ebay that said it was unlocked for all carriers everywhere.  When I try to put my tmobile sim card in it it says "invalid sim"  I called Sprint and they said that it shows as unlocked.  I tried a factory reset but that didn't help.  I tried to go to "system update" and "update prl" and "update profile" but it just says "no network" I've tried adjusting the APN but "Mobile networks,"network mode," and "access point names"  are not listed in my phone.  Please help!

Re: Invalid Sim

Also, I tried following the steps in that link but my phone just says, "No network" when I click on "update PRL" or "Update Profile."  Also, my phone does not offer "UICC Unlock"

Re: Invalid Sim

Hi. In order to unlock the device, there are certain requirements that it needs to meet, among the most important are:

  • That the device is unlock capable.
  • That it is fully paid, meaning that it cannot have any pending contract nor balance.
  • Never has been reported lost or stolen.
  • The account last associated with the device must be current.
  • To get information about other requirements, please visit: http://sprint.co/2HF8FlH. If your equipment meets the requirements, we can proceed with your request. Have you been a Sprint customer? If not, we also need the account number or account name last associate with the device.
