Note 8 very poor signal after merger, other phones in same household are good signal

My note 8 has been constantly getting a very poor signal ever since the merger.  I will be sitting in my house, and the signal will go from 2 bars LTE, to 1 bar 3G, to "no service", then to roaming, all in a matter of a minute.  Calls are dropped ALL off the time (while not moving around).  Tonight away from home I could barely get a signal, and my daughter's J3 had 3 bars LTE!!

 

I've contacted Sprint 3 times over chat to try and help.  Each time they put me through a series of steps (restart, network reset, reinsert sim, signal reset from Sprint, etc.) Nothing is helping - it seems to be getting worse.  I'm waiting to hear back from the next department, as they said that they escalated my issue. 

 

Please Help! I'm not sure what else to do. I love the phone otherwise, but this merger might be the end of Sprint for me and my family...

Just went to a sprint store and got a new SIM card.  That's all it needed. 

Everything is now fixed 🙂

Let's get this fix, having service issue is never nice. Can you provide me with your nearest cross streets and ZIP code? Also, is your device updated on the latest software version and VoLTE enable ( Settings > Connections Mobile Networks/ Voice Networks?

The mobile network is set to "Automatic".  It just updated about a week ago.  The issue was present before that update and still continues after.

 

VoLTE is selected

updates - not sure which one you need:

I do see why you're encountering this issue. There seems to be an outage nearby which is affecting data, which is allowing you to experience slow data speeds, or inability to access data may occur due to 4G services not functioning at this time. Great news is, our network team is aware of this matter and thy're doing everything they can to get this matter rectified as soon as possible.

so.... this outage has been happening for the past few months??? 

 

I find it hard to believe that this is the issue why MY phone is having issues, but no other phones on my plan are...

which also means if your phone is the only one having issues like this then it isnt merger related either..
