Samsung Galaxy J3 Emerge - Gallery Story Sharing - Sprint Product Ambassador

Everyone has a story to tell but not everyone shares them. Samsung helps users express their lives through sharing the memories taken in a story form. The memories I'm referring to are the images the users captures on their J3 device. Samsungs internal Photo Application "Gallery" has a story mode for this purpose. Stories are compiliations of pictures gathered on a particular day or even location that have been put together automatically in a collage/album to be viewed. These stories can be modified to remove or add pictures and once completed even shared to friends and family.

When accessing the Gallery application and clicking on the stories section you may notice no stories have been created. Story mode is not enabled by default. You will need to click the menu option in the top right corner the 3 vertical dots. Select story settings. Here you can enable Auto Create stories and Suggest Pictures. The first option enables the device to create stories based on faces, times, and locations tagged in pictures and videos. The second option provides suggestions of images you may want to add to a story. To share your story this option must also be enabled and does require additional acceptance of allowing Samsung to access your contacts, text, storage and camera in order to share your stories.

There is still one more step needed to share your amazing story. Once you go through the initial setup of registering your device with Samsung for sharing you must now click on "register information" to access an additional submenu. In this Submenu under the general settings section you will notice that Story sharing is not enabled here you must click the radial to turn it on. Once complete you are now ready to share your story.

You can now wait for your device to auto create a story for you or you can manual create your own story to be shared. Once a story is shown in the story section simply click while within the story the "INVITE" option at the top. Here you will select the individuals you want to share your story with. Upon complete Samsung will then begin uploading your pictures to their server to be shared to the contacts. Samsung using your phone sends a group text to each user which includes a web link. This link can then be shared with others so if you only want it shared with those in your list please also advise them not to share the link. Your contacts will now be able to see your album and download the pictures should they want their own copy.

Remember to capture all the precious moments and when your device tells you that you have a new story; share it with the world. Okay maybe not the world but share it to those around you. Sometimes stories are what we have to remember. Make someone's day and share that special moment with them.

Enjoy and remember never use your phone or tablet while driving, be safe and healthy.
