yeah i ended up finding the info on it. it  was across the board with Sammy..every other carriers site had the same complaints about it when it came to the Sammys but none of the other OEM's devices had that complaint.

Which complaint? The bad coverage? The "Do Not Disturb"? Or the loss of assigned text alert tones?

the update is not recognized by my phone either automatically or manually. I do not know what to do.
