Sprint Product Ambassador: Samsung J3: S Health, so we meet again.

I never do fitness related new year’s resolutions since I know that the first few weeks of January are tough, coming after the holidays with kids back in school and the monotony of winter pushing us down. So I have found that starting plans on February 2nd, Groundhog Day works better for me. I figure if there are 6 more weeks of winter, I can do a 6 week program.

I am not a gym person (I don’t have the time) and I don’t have room in my own house for equipment. But I do need something that motivates me – and I am a big fan of applications on my phone that get me moving. (See the blogs I’ve written on LG Health and S Health in the years before).

After reading my blog from 2 years ago, I am pleased to note that the S Health application has really expanded its offerings and no longer drains the battery like it did.

Among some of the updates:

  • Monitor sleep schedules, water and caffeine and eating – as well as exercise.
  • More connections/friends and ability to compare with more users.
  • Great “news you can use”
  • It also partners with a variety of different applications
  • It’s also super easy to set up.

It seems more interactive, and just easier to use too. And since the phone is small enough to fit into a pocket – I don’t need to sync it with any gear or anything. One less thing for me to put on when I go for my walks or runs.
