I called several times over the past couple weeks to ask for the unlock of my device. I've been told it will be unlocked in 24-48 hours. Each time, nothing.
I paid my device in full since the very first day of service with Sprint. I am very disappointed with the service provided.
Again: I want to unlock my device to use it with other carriers domestically, not only international.
It sounds like an underlying issue that's not allowing it to complete. I'm happy to check on it for you. Are you still a current Sprint customer?

After a couple hours of back and forth messages with a technician, once again I have been told it will take 3 to 5 days for the unlock to occur. This is completely unacceptable. I will be taking my business to another carrier and I suggest the same to others with this kind of poor customer service.
This is unbelievable. IT IS STILL NOT UNLOCKED and I just received this laughable message from a technician: Upon further review of the phone itself, it appears that there is a billing question with the original owner of the phone. If you can have the original owner contact us directly, we can try to resolve that issue with the phone's original owner. Once we have that issue resolved, we will be able to make the device eligible to unlock. Until than you can keep that phone on any sprint plan and it will work as it was intended. Thank you.

Interesting, the IMEI brings up another account besides yours. The phone was successfully unlocked, and then it was relocked. I believe this other account is the reason.
I've had to send it off to sprint last year to be serviced. Would that have anything to do with it?
You bought it as a certified pre-owned, correct? Was it purchased in September of 2018?
Neither of those! I have had this phone almost 2 years now and I bought it brand new.
