(When) will Sprint get the Galaxy Watch Active 2 LTE?

So the Bluetooth Galaxy Watch Active 2 is available for preorder; however, I cannot find any mention of when the LTE edition will actually be available (some articles say the 27th, but that is the release date of the watch in general, not LTE). Hoping someone here might know when Sprint will offer it.

Thanks!

Sure can.  PM me the phone numbers and I can see if they have the companion codes on them.

@Em_Will_I_Am I just got 2 of these Active2 watches can you help me link them to the corresponding phones on my Sprint account if I provide all the information. Currently neither of them are working as standalone even though I went through the app activation process for both and customer service can't figure it out.

I switched 6 lines from sprint to tmobile. I also had LTE galaxy active 2 watch with sprint that I paid off in full, I was told it was unlocked by sprint by the specialist that processed the payoff. I added it to tmobile and and it doesn't work, cant make phone . I thought all watches are unlocked and use the same esim? What do you guys think is the issue and what is the solution for this?

Weird because a watch is treated as an accessory, so it's not locked/unlocked like a phone.  I know when the first Galaxy Watch came out, they were carrier specific and the "unlocked" one was the one purchased via Samsung.  That lasted for about 2 months and software was pushed to it which allowed the watch to be activated anywhere regardless of where it was purchased.  The Galaxy Watch Active2, at launch, could be activated anywhere.

As to why it does not work on T-Mo...no clue.  I have no idea how they provision the watch on their end.

Just in case anyone here in Mississippi is considering ordering one of these, I'd like to share my experience so far with the Galaxy Watch Active 2 LTE. I ordered this online and it arrived yesterday, I get it out of the box, pair it with my Note 10+, and it will not connect to LTE. Now, I get 5 bars on my phone, so I'm thinking that there's no reason this should be happening. I get in my car and drive around a bit just to see what happens. It never says anything other than extended network/emergency calls only. I spent a couple of hours online with support, with it culminating in them telling me to reset the watch and to also reset the networks, the next thing I know, I'm getting an email from Sprint telling me that by resetting my watch it is no longer usable on the Sprint network. I'm then set up with an appointment at the local Sprint store where I'm told that the galaxy watches aren't activating in my state, something about 5g coverage not being rolled out. I'm pretty sure that I just got a load of BS from the store. But I'm done with it, save your money folks, I've ordered a return kit and now have to wait a few weeks just to get my money back. Frankly, I'd prefer to have a working watch, since I'd love to be able to receive calls and texts while I'm running without having to take my Note 10+ with me.

Yeah, that is bad BS.  The watches have nothing to do with 5G.  More than likely there is something on your plan, that is not allowing the pairing.  Most common items are wifi calling, international plans, and other items.  Once those offending items on the line are removed, you should be able to pair the watch without issue.
