"The SIM card has locked" message only when phone is plugged in overnight

I've looked through all the other questions about this error, but I'm not finding my specific problem. My Galaxy S9 has been shutting itself off in the middle of the night and, when I wake up, this is the message I see. It only happens when it's charging overnight. The phone shutting itself off has caused me to miss my alarm more than once and I can't miss my client meetings! Please help!

Hmm are you a Sprint user? Or did you purchase this phone outside of Sprint?

Yes, I'm a Sprint customer with a Sprint phone.

Hmm can you try popping out the SIM, and popping it back in? Sometimes they can come lose, and this happens.
