9/28 - Sanyo Vero issue with software update during activation

You may experience the following issue with your Sanyo Vero™ by Kyocera.


When  attempting to download the device software update during Hands-Free  Activation of your phone, you may receive the error message, Software update failed. Please try again later.


If you receive this error, simply try to get the update again. To do this, press Menu/OK and go to Tools > Update Phone > Software Version.



Note: At any time, you can check that you have the latest software version  for your phone. For instructions on how to check your software version  and update your phone software, refer to Check for Updates.
