My Kyocera Milano keeps turning off and on in a loop.

My Kyocera Milano keeps turning off and on in a loop.

It turns on but doesn't get past the Sprint screen before it shuts it self off and does the same thing over and over again. I actually have to take the battery out in order for it to turn off.

pspace96,

You can reboot the phone using the Android system recovery.

  • With the handset turned off, press and hold the Volume Down key. You can pull and then reinsert the battery if the phone is having trouble powering off.
  • While holding the Volume Down key, press and hold the Power key.
  • Release both keys when the triangle appears.
  • Press the Home key.
  • Press the Volume Down key to scroll to reboot system now.
  • With reboot system now highlighted, press the Power key..
  • The Phone will reboot.

If you are still having issues here are the steps for a factory wipe on the device, this WILL DELETE ALL YOUR DATA on your phone and set it back to a factory state.

  • With the handset turned off, press and hold the Volume Down key. You can pull and then reinsert the battery if the phone is having trouble powering off.
  • While holding the Volume Down key, press and hold the Power key.
  • Release both keys when the triangle appears.
  • Press the Home key.
  • Press the Volume Down key to scroll to wipe data/factory reset.

  • Press the Volume Down key to scroll to Yes—delete all user data.
  • With Yes—delete all user data highlighted, press the Enter key.
  • Once the wipe is complete, press the Enter key to select reboot system now.

My Evo 3D does that. I have to reformat it. Hope you have insurance because it may be a deep problem if reformatting it does not help.
