Blackboard App on Iphone

I have to use Blackboard app for school.  Right now I was told that it would work on all Android and Blackbery devices over a 3g connection, but will it work on the Sprint IPhone?  The info my school had was 3 months old and the Sprint people could not answer and they transfer me to Apple and they won't talk to me without a serial number.   I have to decide on what phone to get by the end of the week.  I currently have a Palm Pre and I need to move on ASAP.

So.. Has anyone been able to log in and use the Blackboard app for their institution ver 3G connection on a Sprint IPhone?

Blackboard App on Iphone

I have been using the app succesfuly on my IPod Touch.  I know it works (over wifi), but the question was

Does it works over a 3G connection on the Iphone now that is on Sprint?

With all other companies (ATT/Verizon) the app does not work over 3G it only works on wifi.

It appears that the restriction for being able to access the Blackboard App on Wi-Fi and not 3G is based on the settings of the institution rather than the provider.  I was able to get to the login screen for several random institutions while on 3G and was also denied by most requiring the connection to be Wi-Fi.
