I cannot access the site https://www.identitytheft.gov/ on either of my Sprint phones via Sprint cellular data. In any browser, it hangs and times out. I can access the site ok when connected to wifi.
I have been trying for days on several different browsers. All other sites are ok.
This is an important government site.
If you can reproduce the problem, could you request it be fixed.
I haven't heard about this issue, but I'll check what's going on @comintel. Does it display any error message when you try accessing that website? Have you been able to access it before under Sprint network?
It just times out trying to connect. No special error.
Another Sprint user tells me that he gets the same error.
Could you try it in your Sprint phone? I believe you will get the same error.
I only got interested in using this site in the last week. It is a prominent government site advising consumers on identity theft issues. It is needed to report identity theft officially to the FTC!
I found a bypass which is to access it through a VPN service but that is ridiculous to have to do that.
@comintel, I sent you a PM requesting some information so I can request to review this. Please reply back.
Thank you very much for reporting this problem for me within Sprint. They contacted me and have now fixed it. This works for everybody's benefit.
