I tried to set up my online account at the IRS, which asks for a mobile phone to text a verification.
I have tried several times to have the text sent to my mobile phone, but nothing ever comes through. The IRS site does not indicate a problem of any kind.
The phone needs to be verified as registered in my name. I have had Sprint service registered in my name for over 10 years now.
My preferences already indicate I am accepting all texts.
