Larry has stated the policy. Sprint is aware of customer who are interested in text logs. Currently, we do not off them.
I wish they would change the policy. Why does AT&T charge to change a phone number and Sprint doesn't, should be start charging to conform? Policies are different - better or worse - I am not here to argue I am here to provide info. Wireless companies don't do everything the same and as I said this is an area I wish we would change.

It isn't the law preventing it - it is a Sprint policy. If someone has an Android phone there are some options -
