Managing Email Notifications for the Sprint.com Community You'll now be receiving email notifications again from the Sprint Community. Why now, what happened to them? If you feel you're receiving more than you expected or no longer wish to receive email from the online community, the instructions to manage notification preferences are listed below for both desktop and mobile versions of the site. Desktop To help you stay informed about activity on your questions, posts and comments, you're automatically notified by email when new posts are made to things you've posted in or when you follow the activity of other members or spaces in the community". Alert: if you "Follow": The Sprint Community (as a whole) Social Care Customer Service, Network, Devices, Plans, Services, Sprint.com/Support "spaces" You will receive a high volume of email. Please do not contact Customer Care, you can manage this independently online. Also note: You will receive notification alerts for private messages regardless of preference settings. We also realize that after your problem is resolved, you may not want to keep getting email as people follow up. There's a quick and simple way to remove notifications about new messages - just follow these steps! You must be logged in to the Sprint Community to do this. First, click the dark grey arrow next to your user avatar near the top, right corner of the page. Select Preferences from the pull down menu. You'll be taken to your Bio page. Once on your bio page, select Edit preferences in the Actions container below your picture gallery. You'll be taken to the General Preferences page. From this page, make updates by checking and un-checking the various buttons pertaining to what you currently receive notifications for or what you wish to receive notifications for going forward.. Once you've made the desired changes - click Save at the bottom of the page. Congratulations - That's it! Mobile Version Note: Once you've logged into the mobile version, you will be required to view the desktop (Full Site) version of the site to complete the tasks. The instructions above will enable you to make the necessary updates you require. Type: m.sprint.com into your browser Log in using your standard Sprint.com user name and password. Once logged in you're on mobile home page, select Sign in to Community. Log in Once successfully logged in, select Full Site at the bottom of the page and follow the directions for the desktop version above. Upon completing the desktop instructions, you are finished - Congrats!

How can I find people? You can search for people based on the content in their profiles, very much as you would search for content. This works even better when you and other people add to your profiles information that the rest of the community might be interested in. For example, you could add a list of the things you're skilled at, a list of your interests, and so on. To find people, click Browse > People. On the People page, enter the terms you want to search for, then click Search People. If you get a lot of results from your search, you can narrow the list further by using the filter options to the right of the list. When you click the name of someone in the search results list, you can get their profile and a lot more. You also get lists of the person's content, tags they commonly use, and more. How do I send a private message? Click Your Stuff > Private Messages, then click Compose Message • Start typing or paste the recipient(s) username in the To: section • Select the username from the dropdown • Enter the Subject and body of the message • Click Send Message • You will receive an email at the address on your profile notifying you when another user has sent you a private message. The number of unread private messages will also be displayed in orange behind the Private messages link. You can manage private messages in the way some applications let you manage email. In addition to receiving and replying, you can create new folders for storing messages, save drafts of messages in progress, and so on. How will I know if something has been added to a discussion or topic I care about? You can have the community send you email when content you care about is added or changed. Because an email is sent for each notification you request, you might prefer subscribing to feeds if you'd rather not get all the email. To begin receiving email notifications, navigate to the area you care about — a space or document or blog, for example — and click Receive email notifications under Actions. To stop receiving email notifications, click Stop email notifications instead.

Next, on the right, click Manage EMail Notifications in the Actions box: From there you will see a list of content items you are watching. Select the items you wish to unsubscribe from and click ‘Remove Selected Notifications’. To change the default preferences for notifications, just click Your Stuff - Preferences. Then click the Email Notification Preferences tab, choose what you wish to automatically be notified of and click Save. None of that helping? Here's a short list of known issues we're working on for the beta release of our Online Store. You'll find small things as you browse, but these are some of the major items we're working on. We'll update this list as time goes along. If you find other issues, be sure to use the Report beta problem link in the Store, and also the Beta feedback link for your general comments about the experience. Here's what it'll look like: Known issues We're still optimizing page loading, so in the meantime you may see some distortion and page formatting issues while pages load. When you go to Ratings and reviews from the store, we send you to Community to read all reviews. To get back to the Store, use your Back button for now, but we're developing a more elegant way to get you back. The Galaxy Tab detail page initially shows a voice coverage map, even though it's a data-only device. You can use the coverage tool to check data coverage for the Galaxy Tab. When going to the Manage services page, you may currently see a blank screen with a single button called Services changer. Clicking the button will take you to the correct page. If you're using IE6, there are some issues on phone wall formatting, spacing and general presentation. (Microsoft strongly encourages everyone to upgrade from IE6.) If you have a Sprint Wireless Advantage Club, Everything Plus Referral Program or Employee Wireless Discount account, you’ll need to sign out before you can browse the Beta store and give us feedback. If you are signed in with one of these accounts and try to visit the store, you will see an error message. For now, the new store doesn’t support upgrades or adding new lines for your accounts. 03/29/11 - If you use Safari 4.x, you may see formatting issues and instances where the description of some content is displaying rather than the actual content you're supposed to see. We recommend you upgrade Safari to 5.x. 03/29/11 - If you use Internet Explorer 9, you may see formatting issues. We're working on it. Try the beta version of the Store now!
