Partner your Samsung Galaxy Tab with a DNLA-enabled device

Help customers partner their Samsung Galaxy Tab with a DNLA-enabled device

(What is DNLA? DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) is a standard used by  manufacturers of consumer electronics to allow entertainment devices  within the home to share their content with each other across a home  network)

Your Samsung Galaxy Tab™ can pair with DNLA-enabled devices, like the Samsung Epic™ 4G.

To pair the devices, you will need to turn on the Samsung utility called AllShare for both DLNA-enabled devices. Note: To use AllShare, you must be logged on to a Wi-Fi network on both devices.

  1. Touch the Applications tab and then AllShare, or access it from the Share option within the Photo menu
  2. Click to choose which is the receiving and which is the sending device
  3. Select from the choices available:
    • Play file from device on another player
    • Play file from server on device
    • Play file from server on another player via device
